Mr. Bolvig was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, on June 13, 1959. He attended Vanderbilt University, where he earned a B.E. degree in Civil Engineering in 1981, and Tulane University School of Law, where he earned a J.D. degree in 1984. He was admitted to the Bar and licensed to practice in 1984. He is admitted to practice in all State and Federal Courts in Alabama, the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court of the United States. He is a certified Engineer in Training by the Tennessee Board of Architectural and Engineering Examiners. Mr. Bolvig is a member of the Birmingham and American Bar Associations, Alabama State Bar, Alabama Defense Lawyers Association and D.R.I. Mr. Bolvig has an AV rating in Martindale - Hubbell.
