Ms. Osborne was born Huntsville, Alabama, on December 31, 1967. She attended Samford University, where she received a B.S. degree magna cum laude in 1989. She is also a graduate of Cumberland School of Law, where she received a J.D. degree magna cum laude in 1992. Ms. Osborne was a member of Cumberland's National Moot Court Team, an Associate Justice of Cumberland's National Moot Court Board, and an Associate Editor for the Cumberland Law Review. In March 1993, the Cumberland School of Law inducted Ms. Osborne into the membership of Curia Honoris in recognition of superior academic achievement. Ms. Osborne was admitted to the Bar and licensed to practice in Alabama in 1994. She is a member of Phi Kappa Phi Honor Society, Worker's Compensation Claims Association, the Alabama and Birmingham Bar Association.
